I cannot sleep, I've tried sleeping for the third time tonight and I keep tossing and turning. It's weird because Orpheus was right next to me sleeping peacefully. Maybe I just have a lot on my mind that is causing me to be restless. Everyone says that a restless mind can lead to turmoil in all forms of the mind, including inhibiting the brain's ability to grant the person a good night's sleep.

So I am sitting alone in the gardens outside despite it being at least 60 degrees, my robe and nightgown is warm so it's all right and I love that it's not as cold as it is in the winter. So it's nice to enjoy the gardens and I do know that in Chronophontia it is always sunny unless some mystical force decides to change the weather. I really have to pay a visit to the archives of Onen to read up on the history and see if there is some connection between both places.

I did get word from Wendy that we the people of Onen were touched with some magic from Chronophontia, so we're basically ageless. We do however have the ability to lose our lives and well that's kind of sad but I do hope that there is a way to prevent that so we won't have to worry about deaths affecting our families and friends. Well I hope there is a way to do that, the people of the kingdom would be happy....wishful thinking.

There have been some people snooping around the palace and I worry they might be out to do some harm. I know that Orpheus won't let it happen but I worry because we've seen what evil does to a person and we could very well be in danger. I hope the guards catch them at least. It's for the good of the kingdom.

As for our planned trip, I think I overpacked...I have at least five suitcases full of clothes, my sewing supplies and my sketchbooks. Oh dear, maybe I should've left room to pack at least some books from the archive to take with me. I do have two weeks so it'll be great to be prepare for anything that can happen. At least let's see...nine months in Chronophontia unless we decide to stay longer which I do hope. It seems like a wonderful place to raise a child and everyone is so nice! Maybe there may be a faster way to get there rather than it being a 15 minute trip.

Oh I do have to make plans to invite everyone to the vacation castle in Northern Onen, there are such beautiful scenery in the winter and it's great for skiing.

I feel a little bit at ease now, and well Orpheus came outside to bring me back inside. I guess he noticed I was gone. I hope I can sleep. Good night everyone and I'll writer another diary when I awaken in the morning.

Love,
Your Royal Highness Linnea Francine

Well, OK...Stop poking me, Tom! My sleigh is fast - it gets me from Chronophontia to Paris in minutes rather than hours.  (And it seems to skip time zones too, we leave Chronophontia at 8 p.m. and get to Paris just in time to get into the opera.)  If fifteen minutes is too long Stop poking me, Tom! just hop into the sleigh.
