The Queen's Diary #4

       
The first day of our vacation and it's all ready became interesting.  We sort of had so much free time that the first thing we did when we arrived at Aisha's house was fall asleep. As soon as we hit the bed it was like a sleep spell was placed over us and we slept for at least two hours. We did wake up to the nice sound of my sister coming in and waking us up. It was nice to have my sister do that for us. She's so sweet!

So after our little nap, Orpheus and I took a walk through the forest to mermaid's lake. I am a little annoyed that Euthie tried scaring us using her trees that likes capturing people. It was interesting that it didn't bother us much since Orpheus reminded Euthie that she wasn't as bad as she makes people believe.  She let us go ahead because she claimed she'll scare us good next time.
    We arrived at Mermaid's lake and we were greeted by the other mermaids and the fairies. I was so happy to see our friends. They're just as sweet as I remember them.  They spent the time telling us of the time they spent repairing the damages to their castles and they wanted us to see it.
At first we were going to travel by the magic bubble that Orpheus was going to create but thanks to Maryna and Thalassa suggested that we'd see the castles better and faster too if we became merpeople. My poor beloved was a little weary at the idea but we all convinced him to try to use the transformation magic he had been trying to improve using his magic books. 
It was strange at first to be affected by magic but it did come out well...err sort of in terms of us having fins like real merpeople. Mine was purple and I did freak out at being half fish...but I was calmed after I touched the water and realized how fun it was and I also had the chance to see the beautiful plant life under water. There was this beautiful sea flower that was like a lilly on land. I would love to grow them back home in Onen!
    Another amusing sight was that the merpeople apparently knew of Orpheus and I. They called us the beloved saviors of the mermaid's kingdoms because of our actions against Athena. They welcomed us to the kingdom and showed us around. Apparently each kingdom in each ocean has a different princess rather than queens and kings. They are a peaceful and never have wars with one another. It's amazing they've risen above the need to fight. It's amazing!
    Orpheus told the merpeople that we'd try to visit them often and they'd be our allies. So it's wonderful to have another place to visit and enjoy the time with the people of the mermaids kingdoms.
    After our wonderful visit to the mermaid kingdoms, it was time that I went with Aisha and the others to help Miss Chiara choose a wedding dress. I've never been wedding dress shopping before...The reason why I didn't have to choose my own dress is because I had been given the royal wedding dress that has been part of Onen for generations. so this was a learning experience.
    The girls all chose these really flashy yet pretty dresses. But I wasn't sure about the one Chiara was originally going to choose. It was a corset with a pair of panties that looked like shorts and had a train attached on the sides. I am glad she didn't choose that since it wasn't what she wanted.  I just remember shaking my head and laughing at how Pandora told her sister that wearing something to make Carey drool was the way to go. It was so amusing to imagine the wedding being delayed because of them running off to the dressing room and well doing things that I'll leave up to your imaginations.
We didn't find a wedding dress in the first store but we're still looking for one. If it comes down to it I'll design and make one for Chiara. She's really a nice person and I would love to help. 
Well I have to go now, I am going to spend a little time with Orpheus tonight and hopefully I can get him to relax again.
