The Queen's Diary #5

 
     
So much happened yesterday afternoon and evening that made me feel amazing! I spent the whole day in the kitchen setting the menu for Miss Chiara's bridal shower on Monday. We spent our time in the grocery store getting different foods to start cooking all day. 

    So we promised Pandora that we'd be the ones in charge of cooking for the surprise bridal shower. We decided to make a lot of different foods and we just got to bed at at least three in the morning.

    So far the menu consists of Chicken Salad Crescent rolls, cream cheese olive spread, The three cheese lasagna, and small little hat cookies.  

    I am planning to make three cakes for the party too. There is going to be this huge cake that looks like a gift box made of chocolate cake which has pink and light pink fondant with black ribbon on top. I was thinking of adding a few things to it and I am going to decide to use some modeling chocolate to make a gift tag.  

    There is also another cake I'm going to make that is well...let's just say that I think the girls will be pleased for the party. I know that Miss Chiara will be happy with bigger cake the most since it's going to be pretty...well a little different than I am used to.

As a designer I know how to decorate in cake and fabric. If my career as a fashion designer doesn't work out I can probably have a career in baking!

    Aisha worked on the chicken salad crescent rolls from the recipe that mom gave to us when we spent three hours on the phone with her as the led us through the step by step instructions to make sure that we didn't make mistakes on the food. Everything is downstairs in the refrigerator and cabinets for us to start cooking after we finish with breakfast. I was planning to go to the gardens a little bit earlier than I planned since yesterday I didn't get the chance to. If I have a chance to do so I'll go to the gardens if I have a break to see how amazing it's gotten and to meet the mysterious Celina who is a centaur! I am really excited to meet her now!

Well I have to go finish breakfast and then prepare for a whole day of cooking. Wish us luck!
