The Queen's Diary #30

I’ve been confined to bed rest,

It was not by Miss Shirley but rather by Orpheus. I did not know that he would freak out so much but I guess I should have expected it when I fell off the ladder when we were putting up the stars on the ceiling. It was an accident. I stepped off prematurely and landed on a bunch of the pillows that were stacked nearby. It did not hurt that much and I did land on my bottom when I did so it didn’t hurt much but of course Orpheus lost it and picked up and then called Miss Shirley.

                She assured us that Sunflower is all right and I did not need to worry about anything unless something comes up. Therefore, we are all right and I am happy that it was not much to worry about. Orpheus however has gotten so worried that he told me to stay in bed for the rest of the day while he finishes decorating the room.  I just wish he didn’t tell me to sit still so much, It was boring watching television and I couldn’t even use my sewing machine…so making a new outfit is out of the question.

                I did make a decision to change my hair so I’ve been experimenting with the magic hair potions that Miss Serena made. It helped my hair change in lengths by magic and I do love how it makes it silky. I am gonna use it to make my hair a little bit shorter the way I had it in high school because my longer hair needs a little change and I don’t wanna cut it like most people do. It’d take forever for it to grow back.

                I am writing a list of names I want to give to Sunflower and there are a few I like, I do not know why but I’ve always loved the names Roselaine or Michie. I really cannot decide but I have a few months to decide and it’ll become easier when we finally know what Sunflower’s gender is.  Hmn…maybe if we have a boy we can name him after Orpheus…oh dear but then I’d have to think of a better nickname if Sunflower is indeed a boy.  But as long as he or she is healthy I don’t mind thinking up names. I am going to be the best mother I can be.

                Oh, I think mom’s calling us for dinner,  I really hope I won’t have to stay in bed to eat but if I do I guess I can read through my book of baby names.
